
The subject of a PhD College Scholarship Application project must be located in one of the main research areas of the department:
Cleanroom-based micro-and nanofabrication
Polymer micro-and nanoengineering
Synthesis and self-assembling nanostructures
Lab-on-a-chip technology
Diagnostics and drug delivery
Miniaturized sensors and energy technology
Nanobiotechnology
The theory of micro-and Nanosystems
Qualification
College Scholarship Application Candidates should have (or soon obtain) a master's degree in engineering or similar degree with equivalent academic level. Candidates may apply prior to obtaining their master's degrees, but can not start before the PhD education has received grade.
To nominate candidates for this scholarship must have an agreement with a supervisor at DTU Nanotech about a particular project. Therefore, for a candidate to be considered for endorsement, scholarships and project descriptions must be closed. See under "Application".
Approval and Registration
This College Scholarship Application is academic approval and the candidates will be enrolled in one of the PhD program at DTU. For information on general requirements for enrollment and general plan of study scholarships, please see the Guide DTU PhD.
Salaries and appointed - term government
Salary and appointment terms are consistent with current rules of PhD students at DTU. Working period of 3 years.
